Cheesy Bread Topping

  • 2 tbs mozzarella cheese shredded
  • dash of parsley or more Italian seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your mini waffle maker.
  • Preheat your oven to 350F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together all of the garlic bread chaffle ingredients until it’s well combined.
  • Divide the mixture in half and cook the first chaffle for a minimum of 4 minutes.  If you like you chaffles a bit crunchy on the outside, I would suggest you place a tsp of shredded cheese onto the waffle maker 30 seconds before adding the chaffle ingredients.  This will create a nice, crunchy crust that’s pretty amazing!
  • After you cook both of the garlic bread chaffles in the waffle maker, transfer them to a baking sheet.
  • In a separate small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for about 10 seconds.
  • Add the garlic butter seasonings to the butter mixture.
  • Spread the butter mixture onto the warm chaffles with a basting brush.
  • Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella on top of the garlic bread chaffles and then sprinkle with more Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 5 minutes at 350F degrees.  This is just enough time to melt the cheese on top of the Cheesy Garlic Bread Chaffles!
  • Serve warm and enjoy them with a sugar free marinara sauce such as Rao’s marinara sauce!
