EQUIPMENT:
- Ice cream Maker
- Mixing Bowl
Whisk
INGREDIENTS:
- Sugar-free Condensed Milk 16 Tbsp
1 ½ cups of heavy cream
- Three tablespoons of Swerve Sweetener, Powdered.
- 1.5 tablespoon vodka (optional, helps reduce iciness)
- Half a teaspoon of salt.
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIVES:
- HEAVY CREAM: You can use any nut milk in place of Half cream to make the ice cream light.
- VODKA: It reduces the frigidness of the ice cream but it is not a compulsory ingredient.
- LOW-CARB CONDENSED MILK: Normal condensed milk is usually prepared from milk but there are more carbohydrates in regular milk. To prepare Low-carb condensed milk, Heavy whipping cream is used.
Sweeteners: To achieve a smooth texture, Powdered sweeteners should be used.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Take the Sugar-free condensed milk. Add Vanilla extract, Salt, Powdered sweetener, Vodka, and Heavy cream.
- Mix it well. Now taste and add the sweetener if needed.
- Freeze this mixture for an hour at least or a maximum of 8 hours.
- Then transfer the frozen mixture to the container of the ice cream maker and operate it according to the given directions.
- Wait till it gets the desired consistency.
- Freeze in an airtight container for around five hours.
- Serve Chilled.
TIPS:
- The ratio of Low-carb sweeteners here is very important. Be careful about the best ratio when using the sweeteners to get the desired softness or hardness.
- If we use more allulose, the ice cream will take days to get firm.
- If we take more Erythritol, the ice cream will harden in no time and will be very difficult to scoop out.
STORAGE:
This Keto Magic Ice cream can easily be stored in a covered box for about three months in the freezer.
