“OMG this just might be the most delicious thing I’ve ever made!”

Old-fashioned rolled oats1 and ¾ cups
Unsalted butter, softened½ cup
Light brown sugar, packed½ cup
Granulated sugar¼ cup
Egg1
Pure vanilla extract1 tsp
Chopped apple1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt. Stir in rolled oats.
  3. Cream wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  1. Fold in apples: Gently fold in chopped apple until evenly distributed.
  2. Scoop and bake: Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown and centers are set.
  4. Cool and enjoy: Let cookies cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
