Ingredients List

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen fruit of choice (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, banana)
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup or sugar-free honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Add to Blender

  • Add Greek yogurt, frozen fruit, sugar-free syrup, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  • The frozen fruit creates a thick, ice-cream-like consistency.

2. Blend Until Creamy

  • Blend for 30–60 seconds or until smooth and silky.
  • If too thick, add 1–2 tbsp cold water or milk to help the blades move.

3. Adjust Sweetness

  • Taste and add more sugar-free syrup ½ teaspoon at a time until your desired sweetness is reached.

  • Fat: 0–1g
  • Fiber: depends on fruit (1–3g typical)
  • WW Points: 0–2 SmartPoints

Benefits

  • High-Protein: Nonfat Greek yogurt gives a creamy base with added protein.
  • Low-Point WW Dessert: Most fruits are 0-point and sugar-free syrups keep it light.
  • Fast & Easy: Ready in minutes with no specialized equipment.
  • Customizable: Swap fruits, add flavors, or turn it into chocolate or protein ice cream.
  • Kid-Approved: Sweet, creamy, and nutritious.

Additional Notes

  • Use frozen fruit only — fresh fruit won’t thicken enough.
  • For extra creaminess, add 1 tbsp sugar-free pudding mix (still low-point).
  • For thicker ice cream, reduce added liquid and avoid over-blending.
  • For a fluffier texture, pulse instead of blending continuously.
