Orange Roll Casserole

Ingredients

Casserole

  • 2 8-count cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp orange zest from 1–2 oranges
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup orange juice fresh or store-bought
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Orange Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prepare the pan
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
  • Arrange the rolls
  • Unroll the crescent dough and press into the pan, sealing seams to form a base.
  • Make the orange filling
  • In a bowl, mix:
  • granulated sugar + orange zest + vanilla + orange juice
  • Pour this mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Add butter
  • Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  • Bake
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the top is golden and the dough is cooked through.
  • Make the glaze
  • Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Adjust thickness by adding more orange juice (thinner) or more powdered sugar (thicker).
  • Finish
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm casserole.
  • Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
