Ingredients List

Brownie Layer

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (thick)
  • ¼ cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup or sugar-free sweetener
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup oat flour (or almond flour)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt

Cookie Layer

  • ½ cup almond flour or oat flour
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or sugar-free sweetener
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ tsp baking soda

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment.

Step 2: Make Brownie Layer

Whisk yogurt, butter, eggs, and sweetener.
Add protein powder, cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Spread evenly in pan.

Step 3: Make Cookie Layer

Mix almond flour, protein powder, egg, butter, sweetener, baking soda, and chocolate chips.
Spoon cookie dough over brownie layer and gently spread (doesn’t need to fully cover).

Step 4: Bake

Bake for 22–28 minutes.
Center should be slightly soft for fudgy texture.

Step 5: Cool

Cool completely before slicing for clean squares.
Chilling 30–60 minutes gives that thick bakery look.

Additional Notes

  • Slight underbake = extra fudgy center
  • Protein powder thickens texture naturally
  • Use whey for best softness
