Air Fryer Chicken Thighs (High-Protein, Crispy, Juicy)

Ingredients List

  • 4 bone-in or boneless chicken thighs (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: ½ tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp chili powder, lemon juice squeeze

Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle with oil and rub evenly.

2. Season

  • Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat thighs thoroughly on all sides.

3. Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.

4. Cook

  • Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the basket (don’t overcrowd).
  • Cook 10 minutes, flip, then cook 6–10 more minutes until crispy and fully cooked.
  • Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

5. Serve

Let rest for 2–3 minutes, then serve with vegetables, salads, or rice bowls.
