This simple Apple Cocoa Blender Cake is naturally sweet, rich in chocolate flavor, and made with just apples and cocoa—no added sugar at all. Moist, satisfying, and incredibly easy, it’s the kind of everyday treat that feels indulgent but fits perfectly into a lighter, weight-loss-friendly routine.

Servings & Timing:

  • Servings: 8 slices
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Bake Time: 40–50 minutes
  • Total Time: ~1 hour

Ingredients List:

  • 4 medium sweet apples (Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Olive oil, for greasing the pan

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round or loaf pan lightly with olive oil. Line with parchment paper if desired.
  2. Prepare Apples
Wash, core, and roughly chop the apples. No need to peel them.
  3. Blend
Add apples, eggs, cocoa powder, and baking powder to a blender. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides if needed. The batter will be thin.
  4. Bake
Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. The cake will be moist but not wet.
  5. Cool
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Serve
Slice and enjoy as is, or serve with yogurt, whipped cream, or a drizzle of honey if you prefer extra sweetness.

Additional Notes:

  • Naturally Sweet: Apples provide all the sweetness—no sugar needed
  • Texture Tip: Blending well ensures a smooth, fudgy crumb
  • Storage: Keep refrigerated up to 4 days
  • Everyday Friendly: Great as a breakfast slice or afternoon snack
