How to Make Ham & Swiss Cracker Sliders
1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Assemble the Crackers
Arrange 24 crackers flat-side down in a single layer.
Cut or tear ham to fit and place on each cracker.
Cut cheese into small squares and place over the ham.
Top with remaining crackers, rounded side up, to form mini sandwiches.
3. Make the Butter Topping
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
4. Drizzle & Season
Brush or drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the crackers.
Sprinkle with poppy seeds and dried onion if using.
5. Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and cracker tops are lightly golden.
6. Serve
Let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Tips & Variations
- Swap Swiss for cheddar or provolone
- Add a pinch of brown sugar to the butter for a sweeter bite
- Use turkey instead of ham if preferred
- Best served fresh, but can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving
