 High-Protein Cheesy Chicken Fritters

🧾 IngredientsMain

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, finely chopped or ground
  • 1 cup low-fat shredded  cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup oat flour (or almond flour)
  • ¼ cup  Greek yogurt (adds  protein + moisture)

Seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½–¾ tsp salt

Optional Add-Ins

Chili flakes (optional heat)

Chopped green onions

Parsley or herbs

Instructions

1️⃣ Mix

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Chicken
  • Cheese
  • Eggs
  • Greek yogurt
  • Oat flour
  • Seasonings

Mix until well combined (thick mixture).

Shape

  • Scoop about 2 tbsp per fritter
  • Flatten slightly with a spoon or hand

3️⃣ Cook (Pan or Oven)

🔥 Pan-Fry (Best Texture)

  1. Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil.
  2. Cook fritters over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

🔥 Oven-Bake (Lower Fat)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Place fritters on lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
