High-Protein Cheesy Chicken Fritters

- 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, finely chopped or ground
- 1 cup low-fat shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup oat flour (or almond flour)
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt (adds protein + moisture)
Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½–¾ tsp salt
Optional Add-Ins
Chili flakes (optional heat)
Chopped green onions
Parsley or herbs
Instructions
Mix
In a large bowl, combine:
- Chicken
- Cheese
- Eggs
- Greek yogurt
- Oat flour
- Seasonings
Mix until well combined (thick mixture).
Shape
- Scoop about 2 tbsp per fritter
- Flatten slightly with a spoon or hand
Cook (Pan or Oven)
Pan-Fry (Best Texture)
- Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil.
- Cook fritters over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Oven-Bake (Lower Fat)
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Place fritters on lined baking sheet.
- Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
