Keto Garlic Butter Fish

Ingredients:

  • 4 fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or sole)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter (grass-fed, if preferred)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  2. Cook the Fish:
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan.
    • Once the butter is melted, place the fish fillets in the skillet.
    • Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the fish from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.
    • Stir in the lemon juice and fresh parsley, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the garlic butter sauce over the fish fillets.
    • Garnish with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can add a dash of red pepper flakes or a splash of white wine to the sauce.
  • Pair with a side of roasted vegetables or a simple salad to keep the meal Keto-friendly.

Enjoy your delicious, buttery garlic fish!
