TOOLS:

Baking parchment paper

Measuring spoons

Plate or sheet

Rubber spoon or spatula

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp powdered erythritol
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, unsweetened
  • One tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 cup peanut butter, natural

INGREDIENT NOTES AND THEIR KETO SUBSTITUTION:

COCONUT FLOUR:

  • It helps to make the mixture dense for shaping the balls. It quickly takes in the moisture, so less quantity is best. Almond flour can be utilized, but it will make a smooth texture and may require an extra quantity if preferred.

CHOCOLATE CHIPS:

  • Provides a soft chocolate covering and maintains low carb. Dark stevia- or erythritol-sweetened chocolate is perfect. You can also heat a crushed keto chocolate bar if chips are not available.

PEANUT BUTTER:

  • Gives a silky texture and a creamy flavor. Select unsweetened natural peanut butter. Without nuts or different flavor versions, sunflower seed or almond butter works properly.

POWDERED ERYTHRITOL:

  • Include sweetness without increasing sugar level or carbs. If required, any powdered keto sweetener will be used, such as stevia powder, allulose, or blended monk fruit.

COCONUT OIL:

  • It helps to melt chocolate slowly and gives a glossy finish. You can omit it or use butter in place of it

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. If the batter is too soft, include a small amount of coconut flour.
  2. Roll the thick, solid mixture into twelve equal balls and put them on a sheet covered with baking parchment paper.
  3. Carefully heat the coconut oil and chocolate chips in an oven or boil at 20-second pauses.
  4. Put the ball back on the sheet after dunking it into the heated chocolate.

Store it in a fridge for half an hour or till for proper chocolate covering.

Serve cool and enjoy.

TIPS:

  • If you want crispiness, include peanut butter.
  • Change the peanut flavor and sweetness spread a pinch of salt.
  • Mix 1 tbsp of sugar-free cocoa powder into the thick mixture for a powerful chocolate flavor.
  • For more good taste, add chopped nuts, cocoa nibs, and grated coconut.
  • Before rolling, if the peanut butter is too oily, leave the mixture for ten minutes to cool.
