This is the ultimate budget-friendly homemade bread — no kneading, no eggs, no butter, and no stress. Soft on the inside, lightly golden on the outside, and made with simple pantry staples. Perfect for everyday meals when you want fresh bread without the fuss.

Ingredients List:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, helps browning)
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons oil (neutral oil or olive oil)

Instructions:

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients
    In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. Add Liquids
    Pour in warm water and oil. Stir with a spoon until a sticky dough forms.
    No kneading required.
  3. Rest the Dough
    Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30–45 minutes, until slightly puffy.
  4. Prepare the Pan
    Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish with oil.
  5. Bake
    Pour the dough into the pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes, until golden and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
