Orange Roll Casserole

Ingredients
Casserole
- 2 8-count cans crescent roll dough
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp orange zest from 1–2 oranges
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup orange juice fresh or store-bought
- 2 tbsp butter melted
Orange Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 –3 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the pan
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
- Arrange the rolls
- Unroll the crescent dough and press into the pan, sealing seams to form a base.
- Make the orange filling
- In a bowl, mix:
- granulated sugar + orange zest + vanilla + orange juice
- Pour this mixture evenly over the dough.
- Add butter
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the top is golden and the dough is cooked through.
- Make the glaze
- Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla until smooth.
- Adjust thickness by adding more orange juice (thinner) or more powdered sugar (thicker).
- Finish
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm casserole.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
