pepperoni pizza bread

Italian or French bread1 loaf
Pizza sauce1/2 cup
Shredded mozzarella cheese2 cups
Sliced pepperoni1/2 cup
Grated Parmesan cheese1/4 cup
Dried oregano1/2 teaspoon
Dried basil1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder1/4 teaspoon
Melted butter2 tablespoons
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Bread:
    • Cut the bread in a crosshatch pattern, leaving 1 inch uncut at the bottom. Place on the baking sheet
  1. Add Toppings:
    • Spread pizza sauce in the cuts.
    • Stuff with mozzarella and pepperoni.
    • Mix Parmesan, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and melted butter. Drizzle over the bread.
  2. Bake:
    • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
    • Remove foil and bake for 10-15 more minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  3. Serve:
    • Garnish with parsley. Serve warm.
