Air Fryer Cheese Scones

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the grated cheddar cheese and dried parsley.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until it comes together.
  7. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 inch and cut out scones using a biscuit cutter.
  8. Place the scones in the basket of your air fryer, making sure to leave some space in between each one.
  9. Air fry the scones at 375°F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Serve the scones warm with butter or your favorite jam.
