INGREDIENTS

  • One & ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • Two oz. cream cheese
  • One cup almond flour
  • One tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons jalapeños
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Extra cheddar and sliced jalapeños

INGREDIENT NOTES:

MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

  • Part-skim mozzarella cheese is used to make these bagels, and it also helps to provide the structure and texture in the dough.

CREAM CHEESE:

  • It is used to prepare the soft fathead dough and also provides a tangy taste.

ALMOND FLOUR:

  • We make the base of these bagels with almond flour, which is a keto flour, to make the low-carb bagels.

EGGS:

  • It is use to keep these bagels together and it also form the golden color of these bagels.

BAKING POWDER:

  • It is used to make the fluffy bagels, and it also makes them airy.

GARLIC SEASONING:

  • It is used to provide a deep taste, and it also forms a nice pair with this flavor.

CHEDDAR CHEESE:

  • It is added to provide a nice melt and strong cheesy flavor in these bagels.

JALAPENOS:

  • We use chopped jalapenos to include the heat as we prefer.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. We can heat-up the oven at four hundred degrees F.
  2. Then set the parchment in tray.
  3. Include the cream cheese & mozzarella cheese in dish.
  4. Microwave for 2 minutes and mix to create the even consistency.
  5. Take another dish to include baking powder, onion seasoning, almond flour, salt, and garlic seasoning, and stir to mix.
  6. Include the flour mix in the melted cheese and mix to form the dough.
  7. Then we can add shredded cheddar cheese and jalapeno dice and fold them gently.
  8. We can separate six portions of dough, roll and shape them into bagels, and place them on a sheet to bake for twenty minutes.
