Ingredients
- 225 g 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1 cm (½-inch) thick pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Once hot, place the halloumi slices in a single layer.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Serve immediately while hot.
