You Will Need

- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional, for depth of flavor)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté the Mushrooms:
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown and tender, about 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally. - Add the Garlic:
Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. - Deglaze the Pan:
Add the white wine (if using) to the pan, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom of the skillet. Let the wine cook off for about 1-2 minutes. - Make the Creamy Sauce:
Add the heavy cream and stir well. Lower the heat to medium-low and allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes, until it starts to thicken. Add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, and stir until they melt and the sauce becomes creamy. - Season and Garnish:
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top. Serve immediately.
