Ingredients List
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water (not hot)
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive oil)
No eggs
No butter
No milk
No kneading
Instructions
1. Mix the Dough
In a large bowl, add flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
Mix well to combine.
Pour in warm water and oil.
Stir with a spoon until a sticky, rough dough forms. Do not knead.
2. First Rise
Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap.
Place in a warm spot and let rise for 45–60 minutes, until doubled in size and bubbly on top.
3. Shape the Rolls
Lightly flour your hands.
Scoop portions of dough and gently shape into rolls—do not punch down.
Place rolls on a parchment-lined or greased baking tray.
4. Second Rest
Cover and let the rolls rest for 15 minutes while the oven preheats.
5. Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown on top.
6. Cool & Enjoy
Let cool slightly, then pull apart and enjoy the soft, fluffy interior.
