Ingredients
For the Cabbage Fritters
- 500 g cabbage, shredded
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 eggs
- 4 tablespoons flour (60 g)
- 1 teaspoon salt (8 g)
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper (4 g)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (4 g)
- Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Yogurt Dill Sauce
- 3 tablespoons yogurt (75 g)
- 2 sprigs dill, chopped
- 1 cucumber, grated
- Red pepper powder, to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cabbage Mixture
In a large bowl combine:
- shredded cabbage
- chopped onions
- minced garlic
- eggs
- flour
- salt
- red pepper
- black pepper
Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
2. Heat the Oil
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Form the Fritters
Scoop a spoonful of the cabbage mixture and place it into the hot pan.
Flatten slightly with the back of the spoon to form a small pancake.
4. Fry the Fritters
Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Repeat with the remaining mixture, adding oil if needed.
5. Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl mix:
- yogurt
- chopped dill
- grated cucumber
- red pepper powder
Stir until smooth and well combined.
6. Serve
Serve the hot cabbage fritters with a spoonful of the yogurt dill sauce on top.
