KETO BANG BANG SHRIMP
KETO BANG BANG SHRIMP. With a classic bang bang sauce, fried shrimp coated and dinner is served in FIFTEEN minutes!
Note: In this recipe, I heard some of you were having trouble with the breading mixture , so I’ve had great results and completely re-worked it!
Before I started Keto, Bang Bang was one of my favorite dishes! To my previous recipe, I made a few adjustments to make it Keto friendly and it is certainly not lacking that wonderful flavor! When you are pressed for time, and delivers a spicy kick, it’s easy to throw together and serve !

WHAT IS OAT FIBER? IS OAT FIBER KETO?
From grinding the outer husks of oats, Oat Fiber is made. How healthy is oat fiber? Which doesn’t dissolve in water, it’s pure insoluble fiber and isn’t broken down in the digestive tract, so it is perfect for a Keto Diet and has zero net carbs. Why I use it so often because it helps give a more traditional texture .
WHAT IS A SUBSTITUTE FOR OAT FIBER?
It’s best to use oat fiber if you can to get the best results. Try a combination of psyllium husk powder and coconut flour if you’re unable to find it. You might have to add more liquid since both are very absorbent.

INGREDIENTS
For the Shrimp
▢(peeled and deveined)1 pound raw shrimp,
▢¼ cup almond flour
▢¼ cup oat fiber, see notes
▢(for frying)Mild flavored Keto-friendly oil
For the Sauce
▢¼ cup mayonnaise
▢2 tablespoons Sambal
▢2 teaspoons Sriracha
▢1 teaspoon Swerve confectioners
INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixing bowl, add the Sambal, Sriracha, mayonnaise and Swerve and whisk to combine.
Add the almond flour and oat fiber in a separate bowl and whisk to combine.
Into the flour mixture, dip each of the shrimp and put it aside. Into the mixture, don’t press the shrimp, instead shaking off any excess, give it a light coating.
Over medium heatm, fry the shrimp in Keto friendly oil, on each side, for just a couple of minutes. For them to drain on paper towels put it aside . Over the top, drizzle the bang bang sauce and serve.
