Ingredients
- Keto crust
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup monk fruit sweetner
- 1/8 tsp salt
Pie Filling
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1 cup vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp
- 1 tsp maple extract
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350*F
- Grease the 9 inch pie pan.
- Take a bowl, put egg, melted butter, sweetener almond flour and salt and combine them well until it forms a dough.
- Now put the dough to the prepared pie dish and spread with fingers to form a crust , After the crust formation, take a folk and pork it many times.
- Heat at 350°Farenheit upto 10 minutes. let it cool so put it aside.
- For the filling, by using a cooking whip, except the pecans whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl.
- The pecans should be spread evenly over pie crust and put the egg mixture onto the pecans, which will fill the pie crust. Heat at 350°Farenheit for almost 40 minutes.
- You might cover the edge of the pie crust with foil to avoid browning.
- To know if the pie was done, see if pie springs back when pressed at the center otherwise heat for 10 more minutes. Let it cool on the counter. Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
