Baked Caesar Chicken

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Tenderize the chicken: Pound the chicken breasts with a meat pounder to 1-inch thickness for added tenderness.
  3. Mix the sauce: Combine Caesar dressing and sour cream (if using) in a bowl.
  4. Season and assemble: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, cover each breast with 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, and place in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Add the sauce: Pour the Caesar dressing mixture over the chicken breasts and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake: Cook in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving. This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a fresh arugula salad.
