 Cream Cheese  Pie

Ingredients:

Now that we have all our ingredients ready, let’s start baking:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s nice and hot when we’re ready to bake.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill the Crust: Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake the Pie: Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  5. Prepare the Topping: While the pie is baking, mix together the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract for the topping
  1. Add the Topping: Once the pie is done baking, remove it from the oven and spread the sour cream topping over the slightly cooled pie.
  2. Final Bake: Return the pie to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes at 450°F (230°C) to set the topping.
  3. Cool and Chill: Allow the pie to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
